Death of Osama bin Laden

The death of any human being is always a sobering event, an occasion to take stock of how God asks us to spend our lives. The death of Osama bin Laden is a reminder to people of all faiths in the Detroit Metropolitan area to work with renewed vigor, in order to ensure that in our community religion is never used to divide people.

The one God cares for us all and wills that we recognize and treasure the dignity with which he created us. In metro Detroit that is how we have been living as neighbors, and it is how we aim to continue treating one another.
