Regarding Fr Ezequiel Mondragon

In late June of 2010, the Detroit archdiocese turned over information to civil authorities regarding what appeared to be a series of financial irregularities involving the former pastor at Sacred Heart Parish, Imlay City, Fr. Ezequiel Mondragon (e-zeke-e-al mon-drag-ón). Fr. Mondragon is currently on administrative leave and restricted in his public ministry as a priest. Since the matter remains under review by authorities, neither the archdiocese nor the parish is able to comment further at this time.
