Archbishop Vigneron to Ordain Two Men as Priests for Detroit

Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron on Saturday at 10 a.m. will ordain two men to the Catholic priesthood for the Archdiocese of Detroit. The men, Deacon Eric Fedewa and Deacon Stephen Pullis, have been in formation at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. The ordination will take place at a liturgy at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 9844 Woodward Avenue, Detroit. The public is invited to attend. Those being ordained will greet family and friends following the ordination Mass. More details about the ordinandi:

Deacon Eric William Fedewa, 29, of Shelby Township. Deacon Fedewa is the son of William and Agnes Fedewa and entered Sacred Heart Major Seminary from St. Lawrence Parish in Utica.

Deacon Stephen Andrew Pullis, 27, of Sterling Heights. Deacon Pullis is the son of Kenneth and Ann Pullis and entered Sacred Heart Major Seminary from SS. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Parish in Sterling Heights.

Nine other men also graduated from Sacred Heart Major Seminary this year and will be ordained in their own home dioceses. They are Deacon Pierre Toma Konja of the Chaldean Eparchy of St. Thomas the Apostle; Deacons Daniel James Kogut and Jonathan Paul Perrotta of the Diocese of Lansing; Deacons Jorge Antonio Miramontes Medina and Timothy John Renz of the Diocese of Madison in Wisconsin; Deacons Ryan Taylor Ford and Nicholas Ryan Thompson of the Diocese of Marquette; and Deacon Nathan Ernest Harburg of the Diocese of Saginaw.
