Regarding the school shooting in Newtown Conn

The Archdiocese of Detroit Communications Department relays the following comment from Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron, in response to the tragic school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School:

“In the face of the unspeakable terror unleashed upon the students and staff of the school in Newtown, Connecticut, I invite all the members of the Church to join in prayer, commending the victims and their families to the infinite mercy of the Heart of the Lord Jesus. O Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us who fly to you.”
