Widzinski Funeral

The funeral Mass for David Widzinski, the Detroit Catholic Central student who died in his sleep on Sunday night, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, on the Detroit Catholic Central campus at 27225 Wixom Road in Novi.

The Archdiocesan Department of Communications relays a request from Detroit Catholic Central that no recording devices— video, audio, or still photography— be allowed on school grounds before, during or after the funeral service. Media vehicles will not be permitted on school property. Due to the sensitivity of this occasion, reporters also are asked to refrain from approaching students before, during and after the funeral Mass.
