New Pope Elected

To mark the election of the new pope, Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron will lead a Vespers prayer service at 5:15 p.m. in the chapel of Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. The public is welcome to attend.A news conference will immediately follow the service.After the new Holy Father is introduced, and prior to the prayer service, Archbishop Vigneron is expected to release a statement regarding the new pope's election.Sacred Heart Major Seminary is at 2701 Chicago Boulevard in Detroit, off of Linwood.
