Reverend Jerome Walsh

Reverend Jerome Walsh passed on from this life on April 25, 2021 at the age of 78.

Father Walsh was born on June 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan; and ordained a priest on June 28, 1969. He served as associate pastor at St. Ambrose Parish, Grosse Pointe Park. He also served as an instructor at St. John Provincial Seminary, Mary Immaculate Seminary (Northampton), St. John’s University (New York), the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception (Rockville Center), the University of Botswana and the University of Dallas.

Father Walsh’s body will be cremated and interred in Texas, where he had been living prior to his death. A Mass for the Dead will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.
