Deacon John L. Skladanowski

Deacon John L. Skladanowski passed on from this life on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the age of 90. Deacon Skladanowski is predeceased by his beloved wife, Stephanie.

Deacon Skladanowski was born January 1, 1932 and was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on October 16, 1993. Deacon Skladanowski served his first assignment at St. Sylvester, Warren until 2013, followed by an assignment at Sacred Heart, Roseville, which merged into St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Roseville until his retirement in 2018.

Deacon Skladanowski’s visitation will take place on Friday, August 12, from 3 – 9 p.m., at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

Deacon Skladanowski’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 13, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. In state will begin at St. Paul at 9:30 a.m.
