Reverend Leon Page

Reverend Leon Page, passed from this life on January 29, 2022, at the age of 92.

Father Page was born on July 26, 1929, in River Rouge, Michigan, and ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on June 2, 1956.

Father Leon Page served as Pastor of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Parish, Sterling Heights, and as Administrator of St. Matthew Parish, Detroit. He also served as Parochial Vicar of St. Louise de Marillac Parish, Warren; St. Matthew Parish, Detroit; St. Mary Magdalen Parish, Hazel Park; St. Martin of Tours Parish, Detroit; St. Alphonsus Parish, Dearborn; and St. Henry Parish, Lincoln Park.

Father Page is predeceased by his parents, Leandre and Vina. He is survived by his sister, Rita Page, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will take place at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312, on Thursday, February 3, from 3 – 9 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m. He will lie in state at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 38750 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48310, on Friday, February 4, from 9 a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Christian Memorial Cultural Center.
