Deacon Michael O'Keefe

Deacon Michael P. O’Keefe, passed on from this life on February 11, 2023, at the age of 75. Deacon O’Keefe is predeceased by his beloved wife, Roseann.

Deacon O’Keefe was born June 23, 1947 and was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on October 2, 1999. Deacon O’Keefe served his first assignment at St. Athanasius, Roseville from the time of his ordination until 2014, followed by his final assignment at St. Margaret of Scotland, St. Clair Shores.

Deacon O’Keefe’s visitation will take place on Friday, February 17, from 4 – 8 p.m., at Arthur J. VanLerberghe Funeral Home, 30600 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48082, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

Deacon O’Keefe’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 18, at 10 a.m., at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 21201 E. 13 Mile Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI 48082. In state will begin at 9:30 a.m.
