Reverend Kenneth Kaucheck

Reverend Kenneth Kaucheck, passed from this life on July 18, 2024, at the age of 77.

Father Kaucheck was born on October 14, 1946, in Highland Park, MI. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on February 28, 1976.

Father Kaucheck served as Parochial Vicar at Guardian Angels Parish, Clawson; Sacred Heart Parish, Dearborn; and Christ the King Parish, Detroit; Pastor of Epiphany Parish, Detroit; St. Anastasia Parish, Troy; Holy Family Parish, Detroit; Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, Grosse Pointe Woods; St. James Parish, Ferndale; and St. Mary Parish, Royal Oak. In addition to his parish assignments, Father Kaucheck served as Campus Minister at Gabriel Richard Campus Ministry in Dearborn, and the Metropolitan Tribunal.

Father Kaucheck is predeceased by his parents, Madeline (née Quinlan) and Jacob (Jack) Kaucheck, and his brother Larry Kaucheck. He is survived by his sister-in-law Ann Marie Kaucheck, his niece Kendra Goodrich (William) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews from both the Quinlan and Kaucheck families.

Visitation will be held at St. Anastasia Parish located at 4571 John R. Rd., Troy, Michigan 48085, starting at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm.

Visitation will continue at St. Anastasia Parish on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10:00 am until the time of his funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Father Kaucheck’s burial will take place the following day, at St. Mary’s Church in Maidstone, Ontario, Canada.
