St Joseph Parish Monroe
On June 21, 2014, Archbishop Allen Vigneron issued two decrees. The first decree suppresses Saint Joseph (Italian) Parish. The second decree relegates Saint Joseph Church to profane but not sordid use. These changes take legal effect on September 8, 2014. For two weekends, that is until July 6, the aforementioned decrees will be placed at the entrance of the church. A certified copy of the decrees may be obtained from the parish office upon request.
