St Gerald and St Alexander Parishes
On November 21, 2014, Archbishop Allen Vigneron issued two decrees. The first decree merges Saint Alexander and Saint Gerald Parishes and, in so doing, creates a new territorial parish titled Saint Gerald Parish. The second decree relegates Saint Alexander Church to profane but not sordid use. These changes take legal effect on January 1, 2015. For two weekends, that is until December 7, the aforementioned decrees will be placed at the entrance of the church. A certified copy of the decrees may be obtained from the parish office upon request.
