Regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation

On February 8, 2021, Archbishop Vigneron decreed that all priests already in possession of the Archdiocesan Faculties (Pagella) may administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to any Catholic who may receive it according to the norms of law at the Easter Vigil on April 3, 2021. This faculty expires after April 3, 2021, reverting back to the original faculty in the Pagella giving priests with the ability to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to Catholics at the Easter Vigil only on the occasions of their reconciliation with the Church and return to the practice of the faith.
