Regarding St. Aloysius Parish and Our Lady of the Rosary Parish

On June 28, 2021, Archbishop Allen Vigneron issued a decree merging Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and Saint Aloysius Parish, Detroit, effective July 1, 2021. The merged parish will continue to use the name Saint Aloysius Parish. Our Lady of the Rosary Church remains a church of Saint Aloysius Parish. For two weekends, that is until July 11, the decree will be posted in Our Lady of the Rosary Church and Saint Aloysius Church. A certified copy of the decree may be obtained from Saint Aloysius Parish office upon request.
