Regarding St. Augustine and St. Monica Parish

On August 15, 2022, Archbishop Allen Vigneron issued a decree transferring territory in the city that was being cared for by Our Lady Queen of Heaven­Good Shepherd Parish to St. Augustine - St. Monica Parish. This territory was that of the former Good Shephard Parish and with the closing of Good Shepherd Church it made more sense to put this territory in the care of St. Augustine - St. Monica Parish. This is purely a transfer of the responsibility of the parishioners under canon (Church) law. As always, you are free to attend Mass and register as a parishioner at the parish of your choice. A certified copy of the decree may be obtained from the office upon request.
