Reverend John Phelps, C.Ss.R., with the concurrence of his Provincial Superior, The Very Reverend Stephen Rehrauer, C.Ss.R., appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Christ the King Parish, Detroit; St. Charles Lwanga Parish, Detroit; St. Moses the Black Parish, Detroit; St. Peter Claver Parish, Detroit; St. Suzanne/Our Lady Gate of Heaven Parish, Detroit; that form Trinity Vicariate Family 2, effective July 1, 2022. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Father Phelps will serve primarily at St. Peter Claver Parish, Detroit. Father Phelps previously served as Pastor of St. Peter Claver Parish, Detroit.
