Archdiocese of Detroit Introduces Compass, a New Resource for Parents

The Office of Family Ministry, with support from the Catholic Marriage Initiatives Fund, is pleased to introduce Compass, a new resource for parents.

Compass aims to anticipate the needs of Catholic parents, accompany them through the trials and joys of family life, and point them to faithful answers to life's difficult questions. It is an online catalog for parents and caregivers to find articles, books, videos, and other resources to help navigate difficult conversations, life stages, and challenges they face in raising children. In addition to the online catalog, the Compass team is working to develop in-person workshops for parents and caregivers to provide practical tips and support.

Currently, the Compass database contains over 150 entries and will continue to grow to include more topic areas as we identify and develop more resources. New content will be added quarterly over the next 18 months and will include resources for parents raising children at every age group, as well as information for parents with young adult children.
