Reverend Anthony Blount, S.O.L.T., with the concurrence of his Superior, Reverend Peter Marsalek, S.O.L.T., General Priest Servant, to be appointed to serve as a member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Detroit; St. Cunegunda Parish, Detroit; St. Gabriel Parish, Detroit, that will form a new Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2022. These parishes are currently in the Southwest Vicariate Family 1. Father Blount currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Detroit; Holy Cross (Hungarian) Parish, Detroit; Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Detroit; Most Holy Trinity Parish, Detroit; Basilica of Ste. Anne Parish, Detroit; St. Francis D’Assisi – St. Hedwig Parish, Detroit; St. Gabriel Parish, Detroit, that form Southwest Vicariate Family 1.
