Regarding Holy Family Regional School

Having received a request from the moderator of the priests in solidum responsible for St. Mary of the Hills Parish, St. Andrew Parish, and St. Irenaeus Parish, and with the concurrence of the College of Consultors, Archbishop Vigneron issued a decree on January 12, 2024, establishing Holy Family Regional School as a public juridic person. This canonical status matches in the Church’s law what the school enjoys as a non-profit corporation in civil law. The school will continue as it has, as a Catholic school, adhering to the Church’s law and policies and procedures for Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
