Regarding St. Timothy Parish

On September 16, 2024, Archbishop Allen Vigneron issued two decrees concerning Saint Timothy Parish, Trenton. The first causes the parish to merge into Saint Joseph Parish, Trenton and Our Lady of the Woods Parish, Woodhaven (the territory east of Allen Road will be assigned to St. Joseph and west of Allen Road to Our Lady of the Woods). The second decree relegates Saint Timothy Church to secular but not unbecoming use; that is, the building is decommissioned as a church. The decisions in the decrees take effect on November 25, 2024.
