Reverend Edward Traczyk, SChr, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Jacek Walkiewicz, SChr, appointed Full-time Priest Support at Mother of Divine Mercy Parish, Detroit; Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish, Hamtramck; St. Florian Parish, Hamtramck; St. Hyacinth Parish, Detroit; and St. John Paul II Parish, Detroit, that form Genesis Vicariate Family 1, effective October 12, 2024. Father Traczyk will live and serve primarily at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish, Hamtramck, under the mentorship of Reverend Gregory Tokarski. Father Traczyk previously served outside of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
