Life-Giving Wounds Support Group for Adult Children of Divorce or Separation
Have you been curious about the impact of your parents’ divorce or separation on your life now as a young adult or adult? Have you ever felt you were the only one who was deeply affected? Or maybe you are looking for a community of others who “get it.”
If this sounds like you, we invite you to join the newly formed Life-Giving Wounds support group for now-adult children of divorce or separated parents. The small group will begin on September 26 and gather weekly for 8 meetings at St. Fabian Church building, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. We hope that you will join us!
About Life-Giving Wounds: The ministry aims to give voice to the often painful experiences of divorce or separation and provide opportunities for deep spiritual healing through Christ. We come together in small groups and retreat weekends to learn and reflect on the wound of our parents’ divorce, but most importantly we will come before our Lord to surrender our questions, healing and hurts to Him. Who is the support group for?
- Anyone 18+ years old with divorced or separated parents
- If you are curious to know how the wound of divorce or separation may be impacting your life, desire a path toward healing, and are looking for others who can relate to and appreciate your experience
Group Details:
- Cost: $15, first time members will receive the “Life-Giving Wounds: A Catholic Guide to Healing for Adult Children of Divorce or Separation” book and “LGW Companion Workbook."
- Date/Time: Weekly meetings beginning September 26, 2024, Thursdays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, group meets for 8 sessions
