National Natural Family Planning Awareness Week

July 21 - 27, 2024

“Love Beyond Measure, Natural Family Planning, Supporting God’s gifts of love and life in marriage” is the theme of this year’s national Natural Family Planning Awareness Week.

As an educational campaign of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), “NFP Week” celebrates God’s design for married love and the gift of life and raises awareness about Natural Family Planning (NFP) methods.

The dates of Natural Family Planning Awareness Week are July 21 - 27, 2024. These dates highlight the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, marriage, conjugal love and responsible parenthood.

Love Beyond Measure: Mini Date Night
- The Office of Family Ministry invites married and engaged couples to join us in celebrating Natural Family Planning Awareness Week with drinks, food, fellowship, and an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of Natural Family Planning.
- Meet and enjoy hearing from three Natural Family Planning professionals.

Giovanni & Lauren Vitale

Giovanni and Lauren have been married since 2008. They live in Michigan with their five fabulous children.

They started Whole Mission to create a unified force for supporting couples in fertility awareness after their own positive experience learning and using the Marquette Method.

Napoli Beachnau

Napoli married her best friend Jordan in 2019, and since, they have been blessed with beautiful children.

Napoli earned a Bachelor of Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wayne State University in 2014 and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2015. She served as a Speech Language Pathologist in the educational setting, and now is a full-time mother and serves as a Natural Family Planning educator in the Metro Detroit area. She enjoys helping women and couples learn about the beauty of their bodies and about the intentionality of our Creator within our bodies.
